PROMOCIÓN ESCOLAR DE "ROOKIES"

El pasado sábado día 27 se celebró en Barberá Vallés la Iª Rookies Flag Bowl, jornada que culminaba las promociones en los institutos de la zona del Vallés. Pese a que las predicciones auguraban una mañana de lluvia, finalmente el tiempo acompañó al evento facilitando el extraordinario espectáculo. Más de 100 personas disfrutaron desde las gradas de los primeros pasos que estos niños daban dentro del mundo del fútbol americano. Diferentes equipos, masculinos, femeninos y mixtos participaron en un improvisado torneo haciendo las delicias de todos. Además pudieron familiciarse un poco más en este mundo gracias a distintas actividades de técnicas específicas del fútbol americano (placaje, place-kicking, lanzamiento,…). Como colofón de la jornada se les repartió una bolsa de deporte, bocadillos, bebidas y balones. El ambiente de buen humor y de cordialidad que presidió la jornada hizo que al final de la jornada los animadores Rookies y los niños participantes remataran el acto con un baile improvisado en el centro del campo. Estos próximos días se repartiran balones entre los institutos que han colaborada en la promoción de este deporte.
