REFLEXIONES SOBRE LA PROMOCIÓN (I)

¿Existe un espacio para el football en Europa?, la imagen recuerda a el juego de las sillas (musical chairs)  ,cuando la música deja de sonar, el football queda mirando como todas las sillas ya están ocupadas por el soccer, basket, tenis...
Uno de los principales retos del football en Europa es la promoción de nuestro deporte para el aumento del número de practicantes y para la creación de nuevos clubes. Habitualmente este trabajo de promoción lo hacen los propios clubes con mayor o menor "éxito", ya que es dificil encontrar una federación con recursos suficientes que pueda hacer este duro trabajo y estas instituciones suelen ir al límite en la organización y gestión de sus competiciones.

Muchos clubes de football en España han ideado "fórmulas" de promoción para ser conocidos en sus ámbitos locales y para atraer a nuevos jugadores. Pero, ¿existe una fórmula mágica para una promoción con pocos recursos? Los clubes y personas que han creado, con pocos recursos, inicitivas de promoción en paises con poca tradición de football, muchas veces han quedado decepcionados por los mínimos resultados.

Ahora las buenas notícias.
El football en Europa crece, muy despacio, pero crece. Nosotros creemos que SÍ existen posibilidades, pero obviamente, no será fácil ni rápido. En España existen aproximadamente 70 federaciones deportivas luchando por atraer practicantes, especialmente a los jóvenes, pero no es fácil, por ejemplo, el atletismo ha perdido más 40.000 licencias en 6 años. Se trata de crecer y mantenerse, encontrando nuestro espacio óptimo.
La solución estará en utilizar toda la información reunida hasta ahora por clubes y federaciones sobre como NO hacer la promoción (tenemos mucha información) creando un protocolo de actuación útil y eficaz. El flag ha demostrado ser una excelente herramienta para la promoción y ha ayudado a multiplicar nuestras licencias, ahora es necesario crear herramientas y estratégias comunes.

We believe that YES! there are chances, but obviously will not be easy or quick.
