MADRID ON FIRE

 

El fin de semana del 28 y 29 de septiembre se realizó en Madrid un evento doble, compuesto por el Ir seminario de promoción del flag football para equipos de la Comunidad de Madrid ( patrocinado por FEFA, ACFAM, Templars, TFA ,donando algunos flags, y Flag football Spain) y el I Torneo Templars de flag. Al seminario del sábado acudieron 12 representantes de 6 equipos (Templars, Smilodons, Capitals, Cuervos, Armadillos y Wildcats) dónde el grupo pudo aprender diferentes estratégias de promoción especialmente para las escuelas, posteriormente realizaron un ejemplo práctico de demostración escolar en el campo, los equipos intercambiaron opiniones sobre como hacer crecer sus entidades y sobre actividades conjuntas. El domingo tuvo lugar el torneo con la visita de dos equipos de la FCFA (Gladiators y Spiders), y los equipos de Madrid Wildcats, Armadillos, Capitals y Templars. También acudieron jugadores del nuevo equipo de Firewolves. Después de una final muy igualada, Armadillos se impuso a Gladiators 32-32 (OT) en el tiempo añadido. Más información:

En definitiva, el flag arraiga con fuerza en Madrid y es seguro que pronto dará sus frutos en el tackle, aportando al sistema del football "capitalino", nuevas entidades, equipos, jugadores, árbitros, entrenadores y colaboradores.

Por otra parte, en Canarias y Mallorca surgen "nuevas" iniciativas, son zonas con mucha experiencia en el flag (especialmente en Canarias), aunque ahora nacen como iniciativas que quieren organizar algo más que un equipo, parece que son movimientos para organizar  ligas, está claro que solo es cuestión de tiempo que todo esto fructifique, ánimo!. En Portugal, ya preparan la 2ª liga portuguesa de flag, esta vez diferenciando competición senior y junior, seguiremos con atención esta joven liga.

 The weekend of 28 and 29 September in Madrid was double event consisting of the promotion seminar for flag football teams of the Community of Madrid (sponsored by FEFA , ACFAM , Templars , TFA , donating some flags , Flag football and Spain ) and the I flag Templars tournament . The seminar was attended by 12 representatives of 6 teams ( Templars , Smilodons , Capitals, Ravens , Armadillos and Wildcats ) where the group could learn different promotional strategies especially for schools , subsequently conducted a school demonstration practical example in the field, teams exchanged views on how to grow their organizations and joint activities . The tournament took place on Sunday with the visit of two teams from the FCFA ( Gladiators and Spiders ) and Madrid teams Wildcats, Armadillos , Capitals and Templars . New players also attended Firewolves team . After a closely fought Final , Armadillos Gladiators beat 32-32 (OT ) in added time . In short, the flag rooted strongly in Madrid and is sure will soon pay off in the tackle , giving the football system " capital " , new entities, teams, players , referees , coaches and contributors..Moreover, in the Canary Islands and Mallorca arise "new" initiatives are areas with a lot of experience in the flag (especially in the Canaries) , although now born as initiatives looking to host more than a team , it seems they are movements to organize leagues, is clear that only a matter of time that all this to fruition , cheer, . In Portugal, already preparing the 2nd League Portuguese flag , this time differentiating between senior and junior competition , carefully follow this young league.
