III WOMEN´S FLAG BOWL

Last weekend was played in Xixón (Asturies) the III Women's Flag Bowl Tournament, one of the flag tournaments in Europe with more quality of play and more participating teams. Up to 11 teams from Spain and Portugal disputed the award. The tournament was organized by the Foxes and Mariners clubs of Xixón with the support of the Asturian Federation (FEFAPA).
After two days of high quality flag, with many international players spread among the teams, Foxes of Gijón won in the final (26-0) Cookies of Barberá, Catalan team that traveled to the tournament. It emphasizes the great level of the equipment of Asturias that reached 5 squares of the first 6.

At the same time, in Madrid played the Solidary Project Pol Tournament, in which 12 teams participated senior, 2 junior and 2 U15. It was organized by Campus Pelicans and Proyecto Pol, with a great success of participation. The final line of the leagues in play and the new leagues of Andalucia is approaching, in June the Spanish Flag Bowl 2017 and in July (day 8, in Móstoles) the new promotion tournament Iberian Flag Bowl.

El fin de semana pasado se jugó en Xixón (Asturies) el III Torneo femenino Women´s Flag Bowl, uno de los torneos de flag en Europa con más calidad de juego y más equipos participantes. Hasta 11 equipos de España y Portugal disputaron el galardón. El torneo fué organizado por los clubes Foxes y Mariners de Xixón con el apoyo de la Federación Asturiana (FEFAPA).
Después de dos dias de flag de alta calidad, con muchas jugadoras internacionales repartidas entre los equipos, Foxes de Gijón ganó en la final (26-0) a Cookies de Barberá, equipo catalán que viajó al torneo. Destaca el gran nivel de los equipos de Asturias que alcanzaron 5 plazas de las 6 primeras. Al mismo tiempo, en Madrid se jugó el Torneo solidario Proyecto Pol, en el que participaron 12 equipos senior, 2 junior y 2 U15. Fue organizado por Campus Pelicans y Proyecto Pol, con un gran éxito de participación. Se acerca la recta final de las ligas en juego y las nuevas ligas de Andalucia, en junio las finales nacionales (Spanish Flag Bowl) y en julio (dia 8, en Móstoles) el nuevo torneo de promoción Iberian Flag Bowl. En Gran Canaria se disputó la final de la liga canaria de flag, con el resultado de CENTAUROS v GRAVEDIGGERS 50-25.

Das letzte Wochenende wurde in Xixón (Asturies) Damen-Flag Bowl III, einer der Flag-Turniere in Europa mit mehr Spielqualität Team und mehr weiblichen Turnier gespielt. Bis zu 11 Teams aus Spanien und Portugal für die Auszeichnung beworben. Das Turnier wurde organisiert von Füchsen und Mariners Xixón Clubs von Asturien Federation (FEFAPA) unterstützt.
Nach zwei Tagen von qualitativ hochwertiger Flagge, mit vielen internationalen Spielern zwischen den Teams verteilt, gewannen Füchse Gijon das Finale (26-0) zu Cookies Barberá, katalanische Team, das zum Turnier gereist. Sie weist auf das hohe Niveau der Asturien-Teams, die 5 Plätze in den ersten 6 erreicht. Zugleich, Solidarität Turnier in Madrid Pol-Projekt, in der 12 Senioren-Mannschaften, 2 Junior und 2 U15 teilgenommen gespielt.
